Wayne A. Rosenthal is a family farmer and retired Brigadier General in the Illinois Air National Guard and United States Air Force, per his Illinois House of Representatives biography. He previously served as State Representative from 2011 to 2015 before being named Director of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources from 2015 to 2019, per the same source. He is a trustee, and past president, of the Lincoln Land Community College Board of Trustees, and lives with his wife, Marcia. No campaign website was found as of September 20, 2026.
