Bryan E. Smith is a lifelong resident of Macon County and Long Creek Township with 40 years in local government service, per the Decatur Tribune. He served as executive director and CEO of the Township Officials of Illinois from 1996 to 2021, was a member of the Macon County Board from 2002 to 2020, and started his own local government consulting firm, BS Consulting, in 2021, per the Decatur Tribune.
