Biography

Scott Robinson is a sitting Seventeenth Judicial Circuit judge, appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court effective December 4, 2024 to fill the vacancy created when Justice Eugene Doherty moved to the Appellate Court, per the Illinois State Bar Association. Per the same announcement, he was previously an Assistant State's Attorney in Winnebago and Ogle counties and spent nine years teaching at Hononegah Community High School. No campaign website was found as of October 1, 2026.
