Biography

Janie Ward-Engelking is the Senate Minority Caucus Chair and a retired classroom teacher of 33 years, serving her 7th term representing Idaho Senate District 18 after one earlier House term in 2012 and 2013, per the Idaho Legislature. She holds a bachelor's degree from Idaho State University and a master's degree from Boise State University, per the Legislature's member page.
