Biography

Ronald D. Kouchi is the State Senator for Hawaii Senate District 8, serving Kauaʻi and Niʻihau since 2010 and serving as Senate President since 2015, per his campaign site. He previously served 22 years on the Kauaʻi County Council, including 12 years as council chair, per his campaign site. He is a graduate of Waimea High School and attended Drake University, per his campaign site.
