Biography

Trish La Chica is the sitting Hawaii State Representative for District 37, serving as Assistant Majority Floor Leader and Vice Chair of the Committee on Education, per the Legislature's roster and her campaign site. She spent more than 15 years in nonprofit and government leadership roles in health, Medicaid, housing and homelessness before joining the legislature, and began her career as a journalist in Manila, Philippines, per her campaign site.
