Edward Brown is a Democratic candidate for Georgia Senate District 12 and an economist with a Ph.D in economic history from the University of Cambridge, per his campaign site. He served on the White House Council of Economic Advisers under President Obama and later worked as an economist at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, per his campaign site.
