Biography

Cindy Banyai is a Democratic candidate for Florida House District 78 in the Fort Myers area of Lee County. She holds a Ph.D. from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University, and works as a university instructor and small-business owner in organizational and management consulting, according to her campaign site. She has more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit and community development work and has twice run for the U.S. House of Representatives. No campaign website was found as of September 11, 2026.

Susan Frantz is the founder and CEO of Frantz Marketing Solutions, a Fort Myers marketing and public relations firm she has run for more than 15 years, according to her campaign. A longtime Lee County resident, she entered the House District 78 race after Gov.
