Biography

Wildaliz Bermudez has served as Executive Director of the City of New Haven Fair Rent Commission since 2022 and previously served on the Hartford City Council from 2015 to 2021, including as Minority Leader, per her campaign site. She was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, and was a named plaintiff as a child in the school desegregation case Sheff v. O'Neill, per the same source.
