Biography

Kate Farrar represents Connecticut's 20th House District, covering West Hartford and Newington, and serves as Deputy Majority Leader, per the Connecticut House Democrats. She previously served as Executive Director of the Connecticut Women's Education and Legal Fund, where she led the passage of the state's Paid Family and Medical Leave Act, and earlier worked with the American Association of University Women in Washington, D.C., per the Connecticut House Democrats. She currently serves as Strategy Coordinator for Connecticut Foodshare and as an adjunct professor at the University of Hartford, and holds degrees from the University of Connecticut and Syracuse University, per the Connecticut House Democrats. No campaign website was found as of September 20, 2026.
