Janice Rich is a certified professional legal secretary with more than 23 years of legal experience and a former small business owner in secretarial and business support services, per her campaign site. She served as Mesa County Clerk and Recorder from 2003 to 2010, Mesa County Treasurer from 2010 to 2018, and as a state representative for House District 55 from 2019 to 2023 before her election to the Senate, per her campaign site.
