James C. Ramos is the Democratic Assemblymember representing California's 45th Assembly District, a member of the Serrano/Cahuilla tribe and the first California Native American to serve in the State Assembly, per his campaign site. He previously served on the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and the State Board of Education, and holds degrees from Victor Valley College, California State University San Bernardino and the University of Redlands.
