Biography

Blanca Pacheco is the Democratic incumbent for California Assembly District 64, representing parts of southeastern Los Angeles County and northern Orange County, per her official Assembly website. She was elected to the Assembly in 2022 after serving two terms as Mayor of Downey, becoming the first Latina elected to that position, and after being elected to the Downey City Council in 2016, per the same source. She chairs the Assembly Rules Committee and is a graduate of UCLA, per her official Assembly website.
