Bolick is an Arizona state senator representing Legislative District 2 since July 2023 and chairs the Senate Committee on Regulatory Affairs and Government Efficiency, after two terms in the Arizona House from 2018 to 2022, per the campaign site. She previously worked as a policy researcher at the Heritage Foundation, a Capitol Hill staffer for U.S. Senator Rick Santorum, and a high school teacher in New York City, and holds a bachelor's degree in policy studies from Syracuse University's Maxwell School, per the campaign site.
