Boyle worked as a law clerk to judges in Fairbanks and as borough attorney and chief of staff for the North Slope Borough mayor in Barrow before spending nearly a decade in oil and gas management roles at BP, Oil Search and Santos, per the campaign site. Boyle served as commissioner of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources from 2022 to 2024 and is currently chief strategy officer for STAK energy, developing a natural gas power plant on the North Slope, per the campaign site.
