Biography

Sexton is the incumbent coroner of Lee County, Alabama, with more than 20 years in public safety, including service as a firefighter, EMT and deputy coroner before his election as coroner, per the campaign site. He is the Alabama Coroners Association's District 5 director and a member of the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners, with specialized training in infant and child death investigations, per the campaign site.
