Biography

Horton has worked as a licensed funeral director since 1998 and served as Chief of Police in Glencoe and Rainbow City before his election as Etowah County Sheriff in 2018, per the campaign site. He holds a criminal justice associate degree from Gadsden State Community College and began his law enforcement career as a patrol deputy with the Etowah County Sheriff's Office in 2002, per the campaign site. He is seeking re-election as Etowah County Sheriff, per the campaign site.
