Biography

Young Boozer has served as Alabama State Treasurer since January 2011, per the Treasurer's official biography. He holds an economics degree from Stanford University and a master's in finance from the Wharton School, and spent decades in banking, including as an executive at Colonial BancGroup, before serving as Deputy State Finance Director under Governor Bob Riley.
