Wayne Rogers is an attorney who has practiced law in Alabama since graduating from Samford University's law school in 1988, per the Trussville Tribune. He has served since 2019 as executive assistant to Jefferson County Sheriff Mark Pettway and is a former chair of the Jefferson County Democratic Party.
