Biography

Toni Walker Terrett is a sitting Circuit Court Judge for the Ninth District of Mississippi, elected in November 2018, and serves as presiding judge for the Ninth District Intervention Court, per her campaign site. She previously served nine years as a Community Court judge in Vicksburg Municipal Court and worked as a Drug Court public defender, law clerk and university faculty member, per her campaign site. She holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Tougaloo College, an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Memphis, and a J.D. from Mississippi College School of Law.
