Biography

Timothy J. Cruz is a Marshfield Republican and prosecutor serving as Plymouth County District Attorney since 2001, elected in 2002 and re-elected five times since, per his office biography. He began as a Plymouth County assistant district attorney in 1985, later ran his own Brockton law practice, and serves as president of the National District Attorneys Association through 2026, per the office biography and the Massachusetts GOP.
