Biography
Steven Johnson is Kansas's incumbent state treasurer and the Republican nominee for re-election, unopposed on the August 4 ballot. The treasurer's office manages state cash, investments, unclaimed property, and the state's college-savings programs. In announcing his re-election bid he pointed to a state sweep account that generated $9.9 million in interest in its first full fiscal year, and to financial-literacy and adoption savings account programs. No campaign website was found as of September 8, 2026.
