Biography

Stephanie O Burgess is the Democratic candidate for Georgia House District 164 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the Secretary of State's certified candidate list. Burgess is an attorney and Savannah native who owns and manages Burgess Law Group, LLC, practicing criminal defense, family law, and traffic and DUI cases, per her campaign site. She previously served as a staff attorney for the Fulton County Superior Court and the Atlanta Municipal Court, and earlier worked as a Georgia police officer and deputy sheriff.
