Biography

Sonni Choi Williams was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court in February 2025 to this Twelfth Circuit Third Subcircuit vacancy left by Judge John C. Anderson, becoming the first Asian-American to serve on the Will County Circuit Court, per the Illinois State Bar Association. She previously served as Lockport city attorney for nearly eight years and as a past president of the ISBA.
