Biography
Sharice Davids has represented this district since 2019 and serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure and Agriculture committees, per KCUR's district guide. Raised in Leavenworth by a single mother who served more than 20 years in the Army, she worked her way from Johnson County Community College to Cornell Law School, per her campaign site. She is the sitting U.S. Representative and appears on the certified list for the August 4 Democratic ballot, per the Kansas Secretary of State.
