Shane Sinenci

Shane Sinenci is the incumbent Maui County Council member for the East Maui residency seat, in office since 2018, per the county's official directory. Before the council he was a high school special education teacher from 1999 to 2018, and he has introduced legislation creating the county's Department of Agriculture and the East Maui Water Authority and banning single-use plastics and synthetic pesticides on county properties, per the Honolulu Star-Advertiser. Shane Sinenci appears on the November 3, 2026 ballot for Maui County Council (East Maui residency seat), per the county elections office's certified candidate list. No campaign website was found as of September 11, 2026.
