Shane Atkinson serves as the Legislative Coordinator for Larimer County and is a candidate for Larimer County Commissioner, District 1, per his campaign site. He previously worked in the district office of U.S. Representative Joe Neguse and spent 13 years as a high school social studies teacher, per the site. He holds a master's degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
