Biography

Saud Anwar is the Democratic state senator for Connecticut's 3rd District, representing East Hartford, South Windsor, East Windsor and part of Ellington, per his campaign site. He is a pulmonary and critical-care physician who chaired the Department of Internal Medicine at Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospitals for nearly 20 years, and previously served as mayor of South Windsor, per his campaign site.
