Sam Sutton is the Democratic candidate for New York Senate District 22 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the State Board of Elections' certified general-election ballot. Sam Sutton is a sitting member for the district, per the State Senate's member directory. Sutton led his family business for more than 30 years before selling it to an international company and served nearly two decades on the board of Sephardic Bikur Holim, including five years as president, per his official Senate page. He co-founded the Sephardic Community Federation and Teach NYS and was nominated by Governor Pataki to the CUNY Board of Trustees, serving from 2006 to 2012, per the same source.
