Biography
Roger Marshall is Kansas's incumbent U.S. senator and the Republican nominee for re-election, taking about 79% of the August 4 Republican vote. A physician and former U.S. representative from western Kansas, he has built his Senate record around agriculture, rural health care, border security, energy, and Kansas aerospace and defense installations. His campaign site points to work on phosphate fertilizer costs, farm input prices, and prior-authorization reform for rural hospitals; 82 of the state's 124 hospitals are critical-access facilities, per that site.
