Robert Trivette

Robert Trivette currently serves as Chief District Court Judge for District 1, covering Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Pasquotank and Perquimans counties, first appointed to the District Court bench in 2009, per the North Carolina Judicial Branch directory. Before his appointment, Trivette was an assistant district attorney with the Dare County District Attorney's Office and a law partner at Vandeventer Black. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is now a candidate for the Superior Court seat serving Camden County.
