Randy Johnson

Johnson was elected Judge of Collin County Court at Law 5 in 2022 after 38 years litigating civil and criminal cases in Texas trial and appellate courts, per the campaign site. Johnson began a legal career as an assistant district attorney under Henry Wade in the Dallas County District Attorney's Office and is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law, Personal Injury Trial Law and Workers' Compensation Law. Johnson has served as a court-appointed mediator, guardian ad litem and special commissioner in numerous cases.
