Biography

Phil Weiser is the Democratic nominee for Colorado governor, winning the June 30 primary over U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet. Colorado's attorney general since 2019 and a former law school dean, he is running to succeed term-limited Gov. Jared Polis with a campaign focused on affordability, housing, public lands, and defending Coloradans' rights. He is running with Lesley Dahlkemper as his candidate for lieutenant governor, per the Colorado Secretary of State's 2026 General Election candidate list.
