Biography

Phil Green is the sitting state representative for Michigan House District 67, covering parts of Genesee, Lapeer and Tuscola counties, per the campaign site. His father served on the Tuscola County Commission and was later a state representative for the 84th District, per the campaign site. Green worked as a youth pastor in Wisconsin, then as a pastor, school coach, and sheriff's office chaplain in New York, where he was nominated for the National Sheriffs' Association Chaplain of the Year in 2011, per the campaign site. He moved to Michigan in 2012 to become School Administrator of Juniata Christian School in Vassar and later became Assistant Pastor at Juniata Baptist Church, per the campaign site.
