Biography

Mike Mazzei is the Republican nominee for Oklahoma governor, carrying President Trump's endorsement. A financial planner who spent 12 years in the state Senate including as Finance chairman and later served as Oklahoma's secretary of the budget, his plan centers on eliminating property taxes for seniors and veterans and disciplined state budgeting. He won the August 25 Republican runoff with 186,678 votes to Gentner Drummond's 184,631, a margin of 2,047 votes; Drummond conceded that night, and results are unofficial until the state certifies September 1.
