Biography
Holmes serves as executive vice president for research and development at the Lignite Energy Council and previously led fossil energy research at the Energy and Environmental Research Center in Grand Forks and spent 15 years with Babcock and Wilcox developing energy technologies, per the campaign site. Holmes holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and mathematics from Mayville State University and a master's degree in chemical engineering from the University of North Dakota, per the campaign site.
