Biography

Michelle Kang is the Democratic candidate for Georgia House District 99 on the November 3, 2026 ballot, per the Secretary of State's certified candidate list. Kang is a first-generation Korean American immigrant who arrived in the United States in 1992 and earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia, per her campaign site. She served as center manager at the Asian American Resource Center in Gwinnett County and founded AAPI Outreach & Engagement, and previously owned retail stores and restaurants across Georgia.
