Michael Price spent 12 years with the Henry County Department of Transportation and has served more than 20 years as senior pastor of Historic Shoal Creek Baptist Church, per his campaign site. He also owns a remodeling company. Price, the incumbent District 4 commissioner, won a close June 16, 2026 Democratic primary runoff for renomination over Phedra Thomas.
