Biography
Yohannes is a first-generation Eritrean American and lifelong Herndon resident who earned a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's in public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, per the campaign site. She has served as vice chair of the Herndon Planning Commission and worked as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Commerce and as a policy analyst at the Bipartisan Policy Center, per the campaign site.
