Biography
Maxine Dexter worked as a lung and critical care physician at Kaiser Permanente for more than 15 years and became the first woman to chair the board of directors at Northwest Permanente, per her official House website. She was appointed to the Oregon House in 2020, where she chaired the House Housing and Homelessness Committee, per the same source. Dexter holds a bachelor's degree and a medical degree from the University of Washington and serves on the House Veterans' Affairs and Natural Resources committees, per her official House website.
