Matt Hansen

Matt Hansen has served as Lancaster County Clerk since 2023, after two terms as a Nebraska State Senator representing District 26, per his campaign site. In the Legislature he chaired the Business and Labor Committee and served as vice chair of the Government, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, per his campaign site. A Lincoln native, he holds a BA in political science and psychology, a JD from the University of Nebraska College of Law, and a master's in public administration from the University of Nebraska Omaha, per his campaign site.
