Biography
Matt English is a teacher in Anamosa who was born and raised there and comes from a family of Iowa farmers dating to 1856, per English's campaign site. English, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and is a member of the Iowa National Guard, is the Democratic candidate for Iowa House District 66 in 2026.
