Biography

Margaret Arney holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a master's degree from the University of Chicago, per her campaign site. She serves on the Wisconsin Assembly's Transportation Committee and the Committee on Review of Administrative Rules, and previously served as one of Wauwatosa's first Black aldermembers. She is the Democratic incumbent seeking reelection to the 18th Assembly District in the November 3, 2026 general election.
