Biography
Marcus Herbert is a Sergeant with the Rock Island County Sheriff's Office with 20 years of service, currently supervising patrol operations, per Herbert's campaign website. Herbert began as a correctional officer in 2005, became a deputy sheriff in 2010 after graduating from the Police Training Institute at the University of Illinois, and earned bomb technician certification through the FBI's Hazardous Device School in 2014, and commands the Quad City Bomb Squad, per Herbert's campaign website.
