Lukas is a Glacier High School graduate who now attends Flathead Valley Community College and works in landscaping, per the campaign site. He has served on the Flathead County Transportation Advisory Committee and as Executive Director for Montanans for Fair Elections, and in the 2025 legislature he sponsored HB752, letting child sexual abuse victims sue websites that distribute abuse imagery, per the campaign site.
