Biography

Linda Sánchez is a Democratic candidate for California's 41st Congressional District and a sitting member of Congress first elected in 2002, per her campaign website. She is the first Latina to serve on the House Ways and Means Committee and the House Judiciary Committee, and previously worked as a labor and employment attorney and executive director of the Orange County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, per the same source.
