Biography

Leonardo Castro is a judge of the Minnesota 2nd Judicial District Court. Appointed to the Ramsey County District Court June 18, 2012, by Governor Mark Dayton and elected in 2014 and 2020, per the Minnesota Judicial Branch. Previously chief public defender for the Fourth and Fifth Judicial Districts and a U.S. Air Force veteran, 1981-1989, per the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
