Biography
Lela was born in Great Falls into a military and union household and, after high school, joined the U.S. Army and served in the Military Intelligence Corps, later earning a degree from the University of Virginia, per the campaign site. She went on to spend over a decade in political campaign management and is now a Certified Recovery Coach and Executive Director of the Independence Rock Coalition, per the campaign site.
