Biography

Fossett joined the Lubbock Criminal District Attorney's Office in 2012 and became Chief Prosecutor of the 137th District Court in 2015, per the campaign site. Fossett was promoted to Felony Trial Chief in 2020, overseeing all felony prosecutors in Lubbock County's three District Courts, and became Chief Prosecuting Attorney in 2023. Fossett holds a bachelor's degree from Abilene Christian University and a Juris Doctor and MBA from Texas Tech University.
