Biography
Figueroa is a 40-year Ulster County resident who served 22 years in the Marine Corps as a combat veteran and 25 years as a New York State Trooper before being elected Sheriff in 2018, per his campaign site. Under his tenure the office launched the ORACLE opioid response program in July 2019, per his campaign site.
